Hey I'm new to the Osx86 community and I'm just astounded by the results. So far I have this running on 3 machines in my house, which is frankly incredible!

My main concern is my main computer that I want to do video editing on.

Here's the specs:

TForce4U Nforce mobo

ATI 2600 XT

iATKOS v7

MAC OSX Leopard 10.5.7 installer

So far, everything works except sound and some how youtube videos play super fast. Sometimes when I browse the internet I do get a kernal panic. I even tried photoshop and its goes to a kernal panic too.

What other information can I provide for you all to help me out? I didn't get a chance to parse out all of my system specs by windows, maybe theres another app I could use?

Is the system time running at the right speed? After an hour of the computer turned on does the computer think it is an hour and a quarter? The above problem implies a bus speed problem.

OSX86 Tools has some great utilities.

Is the system time running at the right speed? Are you referring to the clock? The clock seems to be on sync. Can you please be a little bit more thorough on what you mean?

If I download OSX86 Tools, what am I specifically looking for? What do you mean by the system time and how do I know what the right speed is? You mentioned bus speed, isn't that set through my bios? The computer would not even turn on if the BIOS bus speed wasn't set correctly.

Is there any screens you would like me to post so I can get a little bit more help?

Here's some more information concerning the audio: just by going to the biostar website and download the winxp drivers, it indicated that my audio driver is ALC850_6240, I didn't see any kexts with driver so is there any compatible kexts? VoodooHD kext did not work for me.

UPDATE: Ripley's Believe it or not....the sound driver needed for my mobo HERE: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...=84098&st=0

fixed the sound issue and the youtube video playing too fast. That's just incredible! I haven't ran into any problems yet but if i do, I'll be back! Moral of the story, find out who makes your audio driver and go from there!

I had to change the digital out to the AC 97 setting although my sound was ALC850....odd, but thats what I like about these hackintoshes, it just keeps us guessing!

UPDATE 2: I'm still getting random kernel crashes, not program specific, I could be running photoshop or surfing the net and BOOM! Any help there?
