thekingof7 Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Alright so I just finished instaling OSX86 10.4.1 using the marklar-tiger phenix .ISO using the darwin bootloader , and now Im trying to run firefox but everytime I click on firefox nothing happens, the logo jumps up and down but nothing, any suggestions. Technobob Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Sorry to say but yep 10.4.1 was the first release of OSX86 and since then they have changed the way programs are compiled. Some programs may still work but you will find a lot of them don't, plus 10.4.1 to 10.4.3 were beta releases. If you use a prepatched ISO like the ones from JaS or Myzar the process is much like installing Windows a lot easier then the old Deadmoo image that you used. The ISO's can be found on the PirateBay or Demonoid bit torrent sites. The 10.4.6 version runs a lot faster then 10.4.1 and is compatible with current software. Don't give up it will be worth it in the end. I suggest you visit The Genius Bar for some great tutorials.
