LP-mn
Our old PC laptop has finally died, time to replace it. We already have one Mac Mini 1.66 GHz, and another Mac Mini 2.00 GHz (_WITH_ a Windows XP via Bootcamp partition), as well as my daughter's (OLD) Windows XP machine. Furthermore, the house is wired for Ethernet and has two Wi-Fi (802.11b) Access Points. So, my logic is that I we do not need a full blown "Laptop" with all its associated features and weight. Long battery life would definitely be useful, but... what we really would consider a primary shopping agenda is screen size, AS MEASURED BY PIXELS. Note that this does NOT necessarily mean that I want a large 22" diameter screen, but 1920x1200 in a 10 inch screen would be a nice fantasy to hope for. Unfortunately, no comparison chart I have ever seen generally lists pixel resolution. {This is especially true if the chart is primarily focused on features that do or do not work for a Hackintosh installation.} - I've heard of the Mini 311 (presumably from HP). -- I've also heard of the Asus 1201N and 1101HA. These three seem to have a resolution of 1366x768 (16:9 screen ratio). QUESTIONS: (1) Is 1366x768 _GENERALLY_ speaking the largest size screen in pixels that I will find in a Netbook? (2) If not, what larger screen resolutions can I shop for? (3) What other Notebooks would you recommend for a Hackintosh? Thank you.
