AJL23
I have an MSI 975X Platinum Power Up Edition with Core 2 Quad Q6600, 4GB, XFX Radeon 5750 1GB. Stripped it down to 1 SATA HDD and 1 SATA DVDRW. Trying to install using #####-ATI-5xxx-2 and retail Snow Leopard disc. I've tried mucking around in the BIOS and turning off everything not needed for the install, different flags in Chameleon (no flags, -x, the recommended -2) but to no avail - I keep getting the same crash. Here's a screen shot with -2 -v cpus=1 Can anybody give me some advice? I don't see much talk of this motherboard - is it a bad choice? I'm willing to upgrade to one of the recommended MB's and an i5 (there's a nice sale going on right now, my local store is a fair bit cheaper than Newegg this week) and the Radeon is new enough to exchange but it would be better if I could sort it out with what I've got.
