Installing os x by copying image out of virtualbox?

Hi there,

 

is it possible to install Snow Leopard by copying an image of an existing snow leopard installation made in virtualbox to a harddisk? maybe with acronis true image or something else?

 

I thought of applying the image to a harddisk and using the empire efi bootloader. I guess I've seen such a tutorial once, does anybody know if this would work? Or does someone has a link to such a tutorial?
