Shpirt
Snow Leopard 10.6.2 by Hazard. I'm trying it with AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext. It doesn't work. Only green red is blinking, but normally there are two leds — green and red. System responds that the cable is connected, but no data send, even dhcp requests. ifconfig en0 reports that the hw address is all zeros. I tried sudo ifconfig en0 down and then sudo ifconfig en0 up ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (the real hw addr reported by ifconfig in linux), but it responds that cannot change ether. Unloading and loading kext also doesn't affect anything.
