Hi all,

It's been a long time since my last post to this site, but I regularlly check for updates.

I am looking for anyone who tried to install and run Mac OS Classic (v9.x or any), over the OSx86.

Can it be done, and if it can, HOW ?

Obviously, installing the system with bootable MacOS 9.x is not an option.

would anyone have any suggestions ?

I would also like to know if there is any way to connect old ADB devices to a PC?

I know there are adapters for such connection, but has anyone got them working ?

Please answer the challange freely ....

While this is a nice solution,

I'm not sure that's exactly what I had in mind.....

What I really meant was using a Classic environment within to OS X, as can be installed and used on current PowerPC G3/G4/G5.

So that using an old application, i.e. Nuendo v1.x, will launch automatically the classic env., and run the given application.

Nope that will not work as that was on PPC machine and these are intel... so only solution is to run classic on an emulator...

I can't seem to recall where particularly in this forum i read from someone that he/she managed to copy the "Classic" System Folder to disc, and claimed to be able to run Classic. Impatient as i was, i did the exact same thing although i kept thinking it was well, um, stupid.. :)

Of course although it existed there, and it was from my G3 OSX partition, nothing happened..:P

Can't seem to think of anything better than SheepShaver.
