MrSootentai
So I just finished using the Dell Pre-boot ISO to install an official retail copy of Snow Leopard. Everything went beautifully, until the initial reboot came into play. The Snow Leopard install asked for the computer to reboot, and as I did that i noticed the screen go dark, the fans slow, but the computer never truly turned off. So I manually shut it down, and turned it back on. I used the Dell pre-boot ISO to boot the partition, and Snow Leopard began to load. The screen went dark and nothing happened. I decided to wait 10 minutes then move the mouse, and the screen came onto the registration page. I went ahead and filled it out and everything went great. I then shut down the computer, but upon this second boot the computer never came out of the black screen. It just stayed like that, even over night. Anybody know how I could fix this, or what the issue may be? My guess is the GMA950 card may be the issue, as it was in the previous Leopard install I did.
