chorn
Thank you, FORUM, I got This to work: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/de/de/ho/WF...61-4167962.html First I read everything related to the chipset and used MSI board and then tried various bootloaders. Nothing (aitkos, Kalyway, Empire ...) worked until I used tonymacx86-P55BootCD-MSI.iso as a bootloader (burned to CD) and a USB install version of my original snow leopard disk. You need to boot the SL install disk with cpus=2 busratio=22 Then install SL to a fresh GUID Partition and use the time to download #####. Upon Install reboot again from your CD tonymacx86-P55BootCD-MSI.iso again with cpus=2 busratio=22 Then open ##### and ticjk ##### for known processors, tick KEXT network realtek 1000 tick the ACL888 KEXT and matching enabler And start ##### Then remove your CD and boot again from your HD What works on my HP is Sound including digital out SP/DIF Sitecom Bluetooth Dongle Wired Ethernet USB 2.0 Firewire (only up to 400 Mbits for now) Alltogerther this is a very smooth running machine with the totally wrong graphics card: ATIs Radeon HD 5450 which is not supported and only works with one resolution. I tried the Series 5000 Kext but got kernel panics. Because I sick of reinstalling backups to undo bad kexts I'll get myself a new graphics adaptor. Any recommendations? Otherwise I'm a happy camper. Thank you all for this great forum and thanks tonymac. Couldn't have done this without you. Chris
