GVL
Hey, So after trying iPC for quite some time and having it successfully double-boot with my Windows 7, I decided to take the next step and replace it with SL from the retail dvd. The reason of this change is because I want to use Logic 9. In any case, I burned the retail DVD (double layer) and as I was following this guide: Tonymac ##### Guide, however I found myself with the problem that my hard disk is formated in MBR and not in GPT (snow leopard apparently only wants to be installed in the later). My question is, is there a way to install SL retail to double boot with Windows 7? In other words can SL be installed under MBR somehow? What would you recommend? Thanks in advanced guys, I'm a little stuck! EDIT: LINK Here's the link to a very closely related topic for some reference. J.B
yes, it is possible, but you will have to burn an install disc with a modified OSinstall.mpkg (SL installer) try googling it alternatively, people have done it by installing to a second GUID HDD, then restoring the whole thing to an MBR partitioned disk, again try googling it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/227129-mbr-problems/#findComment-1522177 Share on other sites
