lycrake
Hi there guys Desperately trying to get Snow Leopard installed on my Hackintosh, but keep coming up against the same error. I managed to get ##### installed and got Snow Leopard on my machine no problem, everything worked perfectly. However, I wanted to be able to update my machine, so I followed the guide here... http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=185097 Again, this all went fine to begin with- however I had the classic problem of the GTX260 black screen which wouldn't let me boot into Snow Leopard- so I found the fix on http://osx86.net/f19/guide-geforce-gtx-260...-leopard-t4057/ and tried it a couple of times, it all seemed to work fine, but I get the same problem! Still a black screen which won't lets me get in Snow Leopard. Any ideas how to cure this??? In my tinkering, i've also managed to {censored} up my ##### Snow Leopard installation, so the graphic kext has now gone from that. So I thought i'd try to reinstall it again from the ##### CD, now I can't even get that to boot up- I get the error message panic(cpu 0 caller 0x55aa33): "Unable to find a driver for this platform" no idea why this would have happened? If I could boot back into ##### then I might just reinstall that to get the graphics kexts back and just live without being able to update it! Absolute nightmare, spent hours trying to sort this. Each installation is on a separate hard drive, Motherboard = EX58 - UD5 Processor = Intel i7 930 Graphics Card = GTX260 Any one able to help?
