timewastin
I use Snow Leopard with an Intel GMA950 (27a2) @ 1024x768x32, 50Hz. QE/CI apparently works (I can watch videos and have a transparent menu bar), but I can't switch the resolution. In the system preferences, there are 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768, which is exactly what Windows would show. But when I click on 640x480 or 800x600, the screen turns black and colorful thin vertical lines start to appear. I have to "blindly" click on 1024x768 to see something again. This also happens when a game or SDL application tries to switch to 640x480. I've exported the EDID using SwitchResX and attached it to this post. Can someone please help me? Any advice would be much appreciated! EDID.txt
GunForHire
Those timings from the EDID suggest it's running at 50Hz instead of 60 which is what it should be. Don't know if that's any help or not (probably not ).
