Kris0r
Hi All, Most definitely worth mentioning that this is my first time trying to install OSx86 on my PC. Only want the damned thing to use xcode and it's starting to get on my nerves now! I've got hold of an iso named "Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard.iso" from you know where. I then burnt it to a DVD and off I went. At the moment I am getting the '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found error. I've narrowed this down to the fact I'm using the dreaded jmicron controller on an IDE dvd drive and I don't fancy paying out for a new drive if I can help it. Is there any other way round it? I've not touched any other settings in the BIOS other than the boot priorities and so forth. Any advice on where to go from here would be lovely. Also I was hoping to install this on my second hard drive (which is most likely ide!) to make things easier (then try to dual boot windows which is already on my main hdd which is sata) is this going to be a complicated procedure? Help! I appreciate the time anyone would take to at least point me in the right direction, especially telling me what is going to be most likely the best thing to do (get rid of windows etc) PC specs off the top of my head: ASUS P5QL-E, Intel e2200 2.2ghz, 4GB PC2-6400, im not so good on the spot so anything else you need to know please ask, thanks!
