---I also have a retail copy of Snow Leopard version 10.6 if that helps---

lol

ihave the same problem as you -_-

from 1 hour iknown the cause

it is from sata if you have flash memory restore it with cd and disable sata from bios if you have this option on bios

to pass this panic

now iam going to solve it

there two thing i think

fix sata dsdt

fix ata kexts :(

when i get solution iwill tell you

ok well I only have a Sata connection , no others :poster_oops: and my BIOS gives me the barest of options so I still don't know what to do if you come up with a fix please tell me

Also I've tried many other boot loaders and they all error

hey I started looking into it more and here is a link providing some tools for modding the DSDT http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/DSDT

no my problem is some what like you

i have problem with mouse ichanged it

beside the main problem raid cause panic and i should use achi in all sata

so it will take an effort to over come this problem because chipset amd is somewhat poorly supported

ok even thought it said it failed, snow leopard showed up in the boot CD and when i booted into the snow leopard partion, it was successful. Now what i was saying is I installed it using a retail DVD and the Empire EFi boot cd. I inserted the boot cd, waited until it loaded, then put in the snow leopard dvd, then pressed f5, waited until Snow Leopard showed up, the typed -v for safe mode, the installed snow leopard I'm now on snow lwopard :)
