mikecwest
Snow Leopard is supposed to be Intel only. Keeping that in mind, it MIGHT be possible to run snow leopard using some sort of "osx86" work around, inside of a PC Emulator. Even that might not be possible, and would be really slow. You might be able to run Leopard on your PPC, as long as it is fast enough with enough ram to be usable. hi is it possible to install a snow leopard on a ppc mac, like my powerbook g4 1.2ghz it runs now with leopard 10.5.8 but i need to install a snow loeopard on a g5 and powerbook to run protools hd hardware emulation xvx, or perhaps a version of xvx on leopard (not snow) many thanks j
maflynn
SL is the first version of OSX that is intel only. Apple dropped support for the PPC on 10.6 so there's no PPC frameworks included, meaning that there's no way to get it to work.
