Eduardo
Hi guys I believe I am faced with similar problem. (No internal microphone nor external) Using the D620SLV1 boot disk method, I've installed OS X 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard legit retail DVD). Ran the post install and rebooted. Everything worked out of the box... wireless, audio, video ... but the Input (audio) Going to system preferences / sounds: I find under the input tab a device named "Mic" The gain was on zero... so I raised it to the max but no luck. I've attached external USB audio devices and no luck. Even my webcam audio wont show. The video works from the webcam on Skype tho. What do I need to do in order to get a microphone to work, please? Thanks! Ed DELL Latitude D620
