Hi I Have My Snow Leopard 10.6.3. I Just Installed iAtkos S3.

I Installed VoodooHDA & The prefpanel.

Audio Working. No Noises

But My Internal Mic Doesn't Work

My PC is an Acer Aspire 9410z.

I Dont have windows so i cant see my chipset in Everest.

Can someone research to know which audio chipset I Have?

Or can someone tell me which software use to see that info?

Or even a better solution... Can someone tell me how to get my internal Mic working?

Thanks Guys!!

Hi guys

I believe I am faced with similar problem. (No internal microphone nor external)

Using the D620SLV1 boot disk method, I've installed OS X 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard legit retail DVD).

Ran the post install and rebooted.

Everything worked out of the box... wireless, audio, video ... but the Input (audio)

Going to system preferences / sounds: I find under the input tab a device named "Mic"

The gain was on zero... so I raised it to the max but no luck.

I've attached external USB audio devices and no luck. Even my webcam audio wont show. The video works from the webcam on Skype tho.

What do I need to do in order to get a microphone to work, please?

Thanks!
