mr_christer Posted July 24, 2006 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Hey guys, i just deleted my kext folder and replaced it with a backup I had. I repaired disc permissions and did a restart but right now nothing is working anymore, osx boots in safe mode and the graphic driver (callisto) is not initialised I would like to do the chmod thing on the files but how can i get to the single user mode? i use acronis to boot up and the darwin boot manager is not appaering... so my questions are: how can I change the option for booting up the os ( -s) when the darwin boot loader starts directly and is there any other possibily to get my kext folder repaired I can start up osx from an external hard disk where i have my backup...
