chyrio Posted July 21, 2010 Share Posted July 21, 2010 hello, i have reinstalled ipc like 5 times using different kexts and stuff when i install and every time i try to update it using apple software update (and sometimes randomly when its idle) it will give me a kernal panic and say something about acpi. i have looked for a acpi patch during install and tried installing the kexts ACPIPlatform.kext, AppleAPIC.kext, and IOACPIFamily.kext from acpi fix and it still does it every time. Does anyone know whats up with the computer (oops forgot to include, its a dell precision 360 with two hd's both western digital and two disc drives, both on ide, a pentium 4, geforce fx 5200, and a dlink dwl-510 wifi chip (cant get to work any help would be appreciated ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
