Hi, I am a newbie in these things. I've tried to install iAtkos v7 a couple of times. What I experienced was either a kernel panic or a faulty installation (reboots during install) and when booting getting a black screen after the Apple Logo.

My laptop is an ASUS A6Tc, and it supports SSE2 and SSE3.

AMD Turion X2 64 1.6 Ghz

The chipset is nVidia GeForce 6100 / nForce 400

The graphics card nVidia GeForce Go 7300

1024 DDR RAM

Please, could somebody help me? I need to fix that stuff, I need to know which options to use

in customize. Thank you

edit: I don't get kernel panics anymore or faulty installations. Just black screen after the Apple logo. What does that mean?

Im a newbie to these things aswell, I recently installed iAtkos v7 On my Dell Inspiron 1525.

I've been reading on the internet, that it automaticly goes to sleep when it boots

So if you have a external monitor you could plug in plug it in, then it will show up on the external one, then just pull it out so it goes back to your laptop screen.

Or, Close the lid, Pull the charger out, Wait 10-15 minutes.

Come back, Open the lid, Move your finger on touchpad; and the screen will show up.

Tell me if it works?

OMG I managed to boot it correctly through what it seems to be safe boot!

I was playing around with Chamaleon v2 boot, and typed in ForceWare=y -i -x

randomly...what does that even mean? I need to access the normal session, not the safe one...

I'll provide you with all the info you need, I just need to set this up...

I had errors with ACPI I think...in yellow letters, when I used -v.

Btw, that method you said doesn't work.

Thank you, anyway

edit-yeah, -x is to boot in safe mode. So what should I do now, is there anything I can do while

being in the safe session to fix the problems? Oh btw my wireless card is working, so I am using Safari

in boot mode right now when I'm writing this. Please, could anybody help me get this working? I need

to use my Logic Pro
