vjslof Posted July 24, 2006 Share Posted July 24, 2006 My AC'97 soundcard's volume is to low under OSX 10.4.6. I'm running this on my laptop. When i boot to Windows 2000 the volume is loud & clear but when i boot to OSX the volume is way to low. I've set the output volume to maximum but it's still to low. Any other way to boost the volume under OSX? The volume slider works and even the shortcut-keys on my laptop's keyboard work. It's just that the volume is much lower under X than Windows.
