I am going to buy this setup for my new snow leopard hack, tell me what you think

  • GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 motherboard Or GA-P55A-UD3P (which is better?)

the difference between the two as far as I know:
    UD3:
    • 4+2 Power phase VRM design
    • Alc888 audio

    UD3P:

    • 12 Power phase VRM design
    • Alc889 audio
    • eSATA addition

    [*]Intel® Core™ i3-530 2.93GHz Processor

    [*]OCZ Platinum Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 Kit CL7 v1.65

    [*]HEC Cougar 700W powersupply

    [*]Gainward GeForce® GTX 470 1280MB GDDR5

[*]Western Digital (WD) Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 64MB cache

    [*]Cooler Master Storm Scout case

PS: I know, I formatted the post too much :(

Having ALC889a audio is preferable, but neither of those boards have that exact codec. It really depends on how much money you want to spend. I wouldn't go for a GTX 470 just yet – while you can get them to work, it takes more effort than a GTX 260 or HD 4870. Everything else looks fine, though your 700W PSU is overkill (I have an X58 system with a Core i7 and my PSU is only 500W).
