funguy2005
Hi all. Currently following this guide (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=221653) to install Snow Leopard onto my HP Dv8t. All is going well until I attempt to boot off my Snow Leopard installation media. I have made an image of my Snow Leopard disc and am booting off a USB stick. I have done and md5 and check sum, and all works out so nothings corrupted. My Snow Leopard installation disc that i made an image of was 10.6.3, as in accordance with the guide. It loads all the kext's and then gives me EBIOS read error. Device Time out. Its not my installation media since its a USB stick, and not a disc. So its not dirty, scratched etc. Any help at all please? Thanks in advanced.

Switched to internal HDD and a OS X 10.6.3 DVD media and it worked like a charm.
