jhonka232 Posted July 16, 2010 Share Posted July 16, 2010 I have the same problem showed in this video: I also installed iPC 10.5.6, but I updated to 10.5.7 and then 10.5.8 and sound didn't work in any of the three. I have tried everything, The VoodHDA, the AppleHDAPatcher, EVERYTHING! Please help me, its kind of useless having a mac with no audio. EDIT: By the way I have a EP43-UD3L by Gigabyte, and I'm almost 100% sure it has the ALC888 Codec EDIT: Solved my own problem following these steps in case your wondering: 1. Install VoodooHDA from here http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/ 2. Install ALC888 from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...8Audio.mpkg.zip 3. Restart 4. Open up Safari and play the Steve Jobs Keynote on the front page, Low bandwith is fine. 5. Connect a pair of headphone in every single audio output on your PC (that's including front panel ones) and figure out which ones work. 6.
