os x86 snow leopard 10.6

Hi everyone I'm going crazy trying to figure out why I keep getting a kernel panic after installation on first startup.

 

My hardware is as follows,

 

Intel pentium 4 ht 3.2 gig

 

asus p4p800 mb

 

Bios version is the latest beta from asus web site.

 

2 gig duel channel ram

 

Nvidia Geforce fx-5200 agp graphics card

 

seagate ata 100 gig drive. (not sata)

 

Im attaching a picture I took of the error..

 

Any help would be really appreciated,

 

I did a lot of searching on net and the only thing I found that was close was a bios setting "cpu id" and mine was already set to disabled.
