Kaar
I've tried a few Leopard (and Snow Leopard) installers, and most of them just end up resetting. I'm not sure how to get this working. I got iDeneb to install on an old laptop of mine, and that worked fine, save for networking and crappy graphics, but my new box won't even boot. These are my specs: CPU AMD Phenom II X4 965 Deneb 45nm Technology RAM 6.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz 9-9-9-24 Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A79T Deluxe (AM3) Graphics NS-LCD22-09 @ 1680x1050 ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Hard Drives 1465.14GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD154UI ATA Device (SATA) 39.08GB Seagate ST340810A ATA Device (IDE) Optical Drives ATAPI iHAS124 Y ATA Device ATAPI iHOS104 ATA Device Audio ATI High Definition Audio Device Does anyone know what might be preventing it from booting? AFAIK your MOBO has these chipsets: Northbridge: AMD 790FX Southbridge: AMD SB750 LAN: Realtek 8112 Audio: Realtek1200 Firewire: VIA VT6315N The DVD Install distro would need ATY_Init.kext in its Extensions.mkext file that it loads into the kernel when booting....... Suggest you try the LawlessPPC 10.5.4 distro, which AFAIK is optimised for AMD Phenom systems and for Snow Leopard, see here..........
