Dell Inspiron 518

I already have this and was wondering what distrobution I should use that will give me the least bit of headache.

 

I've tried iAktos to no avail, but have not given up yet.

 

I don't have a huge amount of information but here is what the dell page shows when I enter the service tag.

Also, the computer now has a nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB Card, and the dell site says it supports 4 Gigs max ram, however it apparently is wrong, mine has 6Gigs.
