so i had 10.5.8 and windows 7 dual booting on my latopop with Chameleon 2.0-RC4

the partition layout was partition 1 was the 200mb partition, windows 7 was partition2 and osx partition

anyway windows started to have to many issues so i tryed to reinstall but the installer wouldnt let me, so i decided to format that partition and reinstall but as soon as i formatted i wasnt getting my bootloader, so i did my reinstall and currently i have win7 running and can see my mac patition via macdrive

i tried using diskpart to set the mac as active hoping to get my bootloader but it didnt work any idea how i can fix this?

thanks

you should be able to use an install disc to boot into the osx partition, then use fdisk to make it active

if you used a hacked install like iDeneb, iAtkos, etc then usually you can boot to the install disc and see your osx partition at the darwin prompt. If not, then try the grub_DFE.iso OSX bootloader, this will allow you to boot into an install disc or an existing OSX partition. once you have the osx partition loaded follow the instructions here to set partition as active via terminal

you can also access terminal from the installer so booting into the partition is not necessary
