Alright, I'm really new to all of this hackintosh stuff so bear with me. I'm trying to install snow leopard on my Thinkpad t410s (Core i5, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, switchable graphics, touchscreen, etc.) Now I started following these instructions to set up a USB based installer, but then realized they were from almost a year ago and figured they were probably outdated.

On these instructions I've gotten up to making the USB key with the mac install DVD (I have a mac mini and purchased a copy of snow leopard)

I've also got one of Hazard's OSX86 distros (Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard.iso) if that's the better route.

As far as I can tell, I'm going to have to make a partition on my drive for the OSX installation and then in the installer go to the disk utility and format it as the Mac OSX Extended (Journaled) or whatever its called and then install the OS to there.

What kinds of things do I have to watch out for?

Anyone?

Im looking at the same machine.... would be curious how you are making out.

As well, what model/manufacturer is the 128gb SSD? I called Lenovo they said it could be one of multiple manufacturers... Would not say.. makes me somewhat concerned as there are a few poor SSD's on the market.
