hdcwr0x2 Posted July 12, 2010 Share Posted July 12, 2010 I have a 2007 macbook pro with sata150. I currently have a crucial C300 drive installed and it's very fast even with the limiting 150mbps bus. I've done some research on the expresscard slot and it seems to connect thru pci express with a throughput limit of 2.5gigabits. If I install a good enough expresscard esata adaptor... Will I be able to get any more throughput with a capable SSD than thru my internal sata bus?
