Help for Sound Altec Lansing

i have HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx

AMD Turion X2 RM-72 Dual-Core Mobile Processor

Cache 2.10 GHz

Memory 4096MB

Video Graphics ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics RS780M

Hard Drive 320GB (5400RPM)

Display 17.0” Diagonal WXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1440 x 900)

Network Card Integrated 10/100 Ethernet LAN

Wireless Connectivity 802.11b/g WLAN

Sound Altec Lansing speakers

 

i setup the iAtcos v7 10.5.7

every things working goooood but the sound didn't work just i see the volume

but i cant hear any thing

i need help for that

I have an HP Pavilion G71-329WM

 

I installed OS x with few problems, mainly trial and error. but my wireless and sound do not work. the wireless is intel pro so i have no clue as to why that wont work bc i installed the drivers for it =/. So if anyone could help with these problems, i would greatly appreciate it.

Well i fixed all of that...kinda =/. i installed the correct sound driver, even tho on the last install i had the correct one. now the sound shows up! but no sound comes out, failure. please help.

 

Im going to try snow leopard, i think it may work.

 

And it worked! after several hours of torrenting, it worked, and not only did the sound work, but same with wifi, and clamshell.

 

But here is another problem, the ethernet shows up, but doesnt work...no internet connection. it shows theres a connection to my modem, but just wont connect to the internet. please help
