zingzing175 Posted July 11, 2010 Share Posted July 11, 2010 Ok so first try around I was able to fully install (and boot) this asus m3a76-CM board with a phenom x3 processor. I am posting from it in fact. I am running Ideneb lite 10.5.7, I am wondering if there is a fix out there that will let me run all three cores. As of now I am booting with cpus=1 and no other flags and it boots right up. Also is there a special kext out there to use on my sound blaster x-fi? I havent looked yet to be honest.... Everything else is working perfect, sata set to ahci, geforce 8600gtx, dual display, quarts, etc.. network works. everything except full processor and sound... I havent grabbed a screenshot yet but just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this with an AMD system and if it is expected...
