Install/boot help (Compaq presario AMD Athlon64)

Hi,

 

Im trying to install ipc 10.5.6 onto my Compaq Presario but ive had some problems.

Problem is once done it old me to reboot, so I clicked for it to but it just hung, the circle of dots was spinning around and the screen went a darker shade. I waited abou 2/3 mins but I asumed it had then crashed so turned it off myself.

 

Upon reboot it gets to the apple logo bu then does nothing else, just stays there.

 

I did -v on the disk and it hasnt shown any errors to myself.

 

What would I need to customise in the install to get ipc to work? If anyon is able to help?

 

I also have a Dell Vostro 1000 laptop that I can put ipc onto if that would be any easier?
