Sanjiyan Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 Hiya trying to install OSX 10.6.4 its the JaS 10.4.6.install.dvd.iso I got from PB the file is called '10.4.6.install.dvd.iso' I burned it to DVD and it works ok, it goes to setup screen, and I press F8 and the -v to get the verbose output... It then freezes and says this: Jul 22 13:06:11 localhost lookupd(50): NetInfo connection dailed for server 127.0.0.1/local /private/var/tmp: optimization changed from TIME to SPACE yukonosx: Ethernet address 00:11:d8:b6:7f:18 Jul 22 13:06:51 localhost configd[31]: Error: copyAirPortSCPrefsRef can't commit preferences: No such key Jul 22 13:06:57 localhost configd[31]: Error: copyAirPortSCPrefsRef can't commit preferences: No such key Now I would love to try this OSX, always wanted to use it etc... any ideas what the problem is? the caps lock light stos working also, the dvd wont eject or nothing... Only thing I can do is remove the power cord and battery to power it down. Laptop Specs: ASUS W3N 512 MB RAM Centrino 1.7Ghz Chip ATi 9700 Mobility Graphics 80GB PATA drive DVD +/- R/RW DVD drive.
