convert2apple Posted July 11, 2010 Share Posted July 11, 2010 Hi, I have tried numerous ports of Quake III Arena as well as DOSBox and Quake IV. Every single time I launch a gaming application, I get a blank black screen with which I can hear the sounds of the launched game/app but get absolutely no picture. Forcing a quit leaves me at this blank black screen. Any clues/hints as to what might be going on? I use an NVidia Geforce 9800 GT with an EFI string in the boot.plist. I am able to use QE/CI with out any problems and my VGA performance is quite exceptional so far on the desktop. I appreciate any attempts to help me figure out WTF is happening with 3D gaming?
