Jitters
Howdy! I've been working on this for quite some time, lots of dvd's and cd's burned. No matter what I try I can't seem to install a distro or the retail version of snow leopard onto my new Asus G73J laptop. Kalyway 10.5.2 allows me to get to the GUI installer but I just get a install failed notice. I've heard that you have to do something special with asus mobos? I've tried here but can't seem to get anywhere with Empire EFI. btw netkas just came out with drivers for ATI 5xxx so I figured that this would be an easy process. False. Installing mac on my Dell Inspiron 530 went so smoothly. I'm rather lost and not sure where to begin now? Sugestions? bearloverpr
I used MyHack to Install 10.5.3 and vanilla with update to 10.6.4, the only problem is the driver for Video everything else work. Waiting for 10.6.5 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/224611-asus-g73j-help/#findComment-1570672 Share on other sites
