Intel HD not working

Hi all,

I’m trying to install Snow Leopard 10.6.4 on an Vostro 3700. The CPU is a i3-350m, so according to Wikipedia the integrated GPU should be a GMA HD i3-3x0M (I can confirm with lspci that device id is 46). If I boot with -s, I have access to a console. However, if I replace -s with -v, the desktop never shows up — i keep seeing the boot log. Replacing vanilla kexts with http://www.kexts.com/view/373-intelhdgraphics.html didn’t solve anything, neither does -x (which should use the plain vga driver). I have also tried with arch=i386, no more success.

I use chameleon 2.0-rc4. Extra kexts : FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement, AppleACPIPS2Nub, ApplePS2Controller and HDAEnabler. No DSDT.aml.

That’s strange, since my device seems supported : http://extraspeed.blogspot.com/2010/04/app...phic-kexts.html

Any indication will be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks
