flexer
Hi all, I've recently switched to iPortable Snow from a previous iAtkos S3 v2 installation because sata issue. Now all works goods except for a strange issue. My dvd drive, often, isn't recognized but sometimes it is recognized well but on ata channel (in leopard my hdd and my dvd was recognized on sata channel). Any ideas for resolve this issue? Thank you. edit I've solved installing in /Extra/Extension AppleGenericPCATA.kext, AppleNForceATA.kext, AppleOnBoardPCATA.kext, AppleVIAATA.kext, Siliconimage3132.kext from a working 10.5.8 installation. edit 2: I've safely updated to 10.6.3 (running "pfix" utility before reboot) and after to 10.6.4 (running "#####" utility before reboot) deleting sleepenabler.kext before reboot. The only issue in 10.6.4 is "reboot". It don't work. I've also noticed that using "Lizard" utility and enabling "graphics injection" in "basic boot option", my Ati Xpress 200m 5a62 (128MbVram in windows) is recognized with 31Mb Vram. Before, with all other installation and without "graphics injection" in 10.6.4, it was recognized with 16MB Vram P.S.: I'm running, now and before, with Vanilla kernel Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/224504-solved-upgraded-to-1064iportable-snow-post-install-very-strange-issue/ Share on other sites
