eido
I installed snow leopard on my dell studio xps 1645 laptop, having booted from the only disc that worked, an Empire EFI boot disc. Then, copying all the files from the disc to a flash drive allows me to boot from the flash drive, but I want to boot from the EFI partition. Copying all the same files to the EFI partition and trying to boot leaves me at a "GPT boot error" or something before I even get to chameleon. I tried following this guide: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/01/twe...-chameleon.html and it will boot to chameleon, but then selecting OSX results in a black screen and an automatic restart.... What can i do?
eido
actually I think the way I set up my chameleon boot drive was following another tutorial, and then replacing the Extra folder with the one from the disc, doesn't really change the problem though, just thought I would clarify... eido
Solved my own problem, I installed PC EFI 10.6, and then replaced the binaries with the ones from the Empire EFI disc
