shortman1984 Posted July 6, 2010 Share Posted July 6, 2010 Guess i can start off by saying i have an asrock x58 extreme 3 motherboard with an i7-920 processor. i have OS X 10.6.4 retail and im having an issue here. I am not even sure if i even noticed this before. But everytime i go try to shut down my computer it just restarts itself..and im not sure why? any out there can help? Thanks.. Also how do i get my energy saver to even show the restart on power failure feature as well..? i even used osx86 tools and forced shutdown and it still restarts.... shortman1984 Posted July 7, 2010 Author Share Posted July 7, 2010 i used the openhaltrestart kext and deleted it...used different bootloader...everything...and just cant seem to fix this problem...every time i shut down it just restarts automatically. Is there something in the dsdt.aml file i need to modify?
