my1bluebear
I have a Abit KN9 (NF-MCP55) motherboard I have ethernet working well thanks to : nForceLAN_0.64.5, but I cannot get the audio to work. In fact, does anyone know what audio device this motherboard uses? All I know, is I have 6 ports on the back for audio jacks. I tried running the ALC888Audio.mpkg, it didn't work, still no audio device. Spec: AMD 64 X2 6000+ 4Gb RAM Kalaway 10.5.2 installation Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/224008-abit-kn9-audio-no-working/ Share on other sites
my1bluebear
I know I'm responding to my own question, but i've discovered that the chipset used for this motherboard is an 7.1 HD audio (ALC883).
