joms Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 hi folks, since i saw, that there will be driver for the 5xxx series i try to install os x on my desktop computer. i did everything: - BIOS Settings - Tried to boot with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] ATI, [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] Supported, Empire EFI 1.085 - put the hd in the right sata slot everytime i insert 10.6 29$ DVD into the drive and hit f5 and press enter (even with -x) i get an kernel panic. panic(cpu 0 caller 0x559b29): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n\@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1486.2.11/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1389 So is there any possibilty to get this work? what do i have to do? i dont know anything more to try at this time. thank you cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/223964-106-on-my-i5-ati-5770/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

What guide did you follow for the BIOS settings, I haven't been able to find anything. I'm using an asus p7H55-M Pro mobo. I've tried iDeneb and iAtkos, but when I boot from dvd, I only get the Apple logo for a second, then my computer restarts.
