hi folks,

since i saw, that there will be driver for the 5xxx series i try to install os x on my

desktop computer.

i did everything:

- BIOS Settings

- Tried to boot with ##### ATI, ##### Supported, Empire EFI 1.085

- put the hd in the right sata slot

everytime i insert 10.6 29$ DVD into the drive and hit f5 and press enter (even with -x)

i get an kernel panic.

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x559b29): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n\@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1486.2.11/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1389

So is there any possibilty to get this work? what do i have to do?

i dont know anything more to try at this time.

thank you

cheers

I have the same hardware. What guide did you follow for the BIOS settings, I haven't been able to find anything. I'm using an asus p7H55-M Pro mobo.

I've tried iDeneb and iAtkos, but when I boot from dvd, I only get the Apple logo for a second, then my computer restarts.
