A little help installing Snow Leopard on my PC

Hi all, my first time posting, I'll try to be as detailed as possible!

System Specs:

Motherboard: Asus P5QL/EPU (P45/P43 Chipset)

CPU: Core 2 Quad Q8200 - SSE1, 2, 3,4.1 compatible

RAM: 4gb DDR2

Graphics Card: XFX 9800GT

I have 2 drives: One SATA with Windows on it and one IDE which is what I want to install on.

If it's any help I started trying to install with myHack as the main guide seemed to match my system specs the best.

I followed the guide here: http://osx86.sojugarden.com/installer/

I used the verbose to get the logs and below is what I have a few minutes into the install.

Hopefully the information here will help you to help me!

EDIT: SOLVED: I used the ##### suggestion and persued this tutorial: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=219220

The only main problem I came across was booting my USB from ##### which gave an EBIOS read error. I overcame this by typing:

EHCIacquire=No UHCIreset=No

in the ##### prompt.

Hope I have been of some help to someone with this problem anyway. :)

Dominic

I don't have any kind of experience in installing OSX on a desktop but it seems to me that the problem is related to IDE/SATA. To my knowledge, you need to switch IDE to SATA or use a patch to install OSX on a IDE drive. Try to find people using the same chipset with you.

Good Luck.

By using ##### I take it you mean I try by starting with a fresh Install DVD image? Then after i install Snow leopard I use the Chameleon loader?

use HackBoot or #####

after

http://www.mediafire.com/?3znybglfomu

you will also need the driver sata/pata

then just fine tune

Sorry I didn't quite get that. Should I start with a fresh OSX install usb and run #####? Then when it is installed should I install Chameleon?

OK tried booting into ##### but I get:

EBIOS read error: Device timeout

Block 0x64044 Sectors 0

This happens as soon as I select the boot device from #####.

Any ideas?
