Apokarteron
I updated OS X via System Update.app from 10.6.3 to 10.6.4 on my Dell Mini 10v and now every time OS X boots it shows that "kernel panic" screen after the Apple logo. Is there any way to fix this by patching it with the latest cracked (chameleon?) kernel without having to reformat the HDD? Thanks
JBraddock
What I would do is this. Find an external hard drive that have Windows installed. Boot into Windows and install Mac Drive and mount Mac partitions. Do the necessary changes, first thing being the pathced kernel for your atom processor. You may also need to update some kexts files. You should look for them. Then, boot into OSX with -f -v. Either way, you have to find a way to mount Mac partitions and do the necessary changes. This is what comes into my head. I remember reading some people doing these steps by using -s command and mounting mac partitions but I don't know the details. Good Luck.
