Hi,

I'm trying to install Mac Os X native on my PC with a Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 motherboard.

Because of the bad performance of the IDE interface i want to install on my SATA disk.

Before i installed OS X on a IDE drive and cloned it on my SATA disk. I changed AppleVIAATA.kext with the deviceid's i found in this thread : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=2188&st=60

and everything was working. But because of the limitation that i have to work with exactly the same partition table as on the IDE drive i wanna do a new install with a dvd that's allready patched with the right sata kext.

What i did: I did mount the iso in mac os x and make it writable (hdiutil attach -readwrite ImageName.iso)

After that i copied Extensions.kext from my working (IDE) install to the ISO. And burned the iso with Toast7 to a DVD.

Now the DVD is bootable but the install stops with a "stop-sign" on the apple logo screen. Can anyone tell me how to patch the iso correctly with my sata settings?

greets Raz

(Sorry for my poor English)
