hi there, i have downloaded iatkos v7 and tried to install it on my laptop but i am getting alot of problems in booting up.

here's a little background information so you can help me better:

my laptop is a fujitsu amilo Li 3710

intel pentium dual core 2.16 GHz

2GB ram

intel GMA 4500M vga (i know this card is not supported, but i dont mind working with low graphics i just want to boot the damn OS on my computer)

i am not sure about my motherboard brand but i assume intel? i'll try and look it up now after posting this.

so i have a 250GB HDD so i decided on making a separate partition and formatting it into fat32 so that the iatkos setup will see it and install on it. and so it did.

i put in the cd boot up the setup, select drivers and patches (not sure if what i select is correct or not maybe this is where i am screwing up. i have selected them based upon a hackintosh basic tutorial video on youtube:

)

anyways, i press install, it installs the OS and reboots. after it reboots i get this chameleon screen asking me which boot i want (windows or mac) i choose mac, so it opens up this grey screen with a silver apple logo on it and stops. sometimes it gives me a kernel panic.

i opened it again booting it verbose and at the end i got this text in yellow:

failed to load extension com.apple.driver.appleACPIPS2nub.

from path: "uuid",

waiting for boot volume with UUID EBC17022-3937-AF97-480EA1FB7792

waiting on <dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderclass</key><string ID="1">IOResources</string><key>IOResourcesmatch</key><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict>

and it stops. i tried booting with -x -v -f ( or something like that) cpus=1 and it loaded, i didnt get any yellow writing, but it stopped, still didnt load the OS

i really have no idea what is wrong... is there any way i can boot OSX on my laptop?

please help!!!!!!!!!!

thank you for your time. much appreciated.

UPDATE: i think i found out my motherboard model: "The Li 3710 has an Intel GL40 chipset"

is that it?
