Kernel Panics on 680i lt

distro: patched leohazard

bootloader: chameleon rc3 with pc efi 10.5

version: 10.6.0

 

specs

xfx 680i lt sli

q6700

4gb ram

IDE hdd and dvd

9800gt

 

kexts

bootx86

NvEnabler

NforceLan

VoodooHDA

AppleRTC(get kernel panics with elliotforcelegacyrtc)

IOATAFamilyFix

SMBIOSResolver

 

details

Had the firewire guid ffff... is invalid during boot so i disabled firewire.

Also during boot Nvenabler has quite a few lines of debug.

Also during the boot AppleNforceATA found 0 units.

 

After it boots into osx and i begin installing my software thats when i received this kp

Hi thanks for the reply

Im following your guide using the nForceSLBoot 132 CD method however when i boot off the disk i get an EBIOS read error: "error 0x32 Block 0xb0 Sectors 0".

any suggestions?

It may still boot if you wait a while ........but better to follow the instructions in post #1: "N.B. Burn the DVD at the slowest possible speed ≤ x4"..........i.e. burn to a DVD-R or DVD+RW NOT to a CD-R or CD-RW........hence the name nForceSLBoot132DVD....... :D
