vikonava Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 Im trying to get the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] technique to get OSX 10.6.X working on my home made PC... before I continue here are the specs. CPU Type Intel P4 650, 3400 mHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-8I915ME-GL Video Intel 82915GL (Intel GMA 900) Audio Realtek ALC655 @ Intel 82801FB ICH6 - AC97 Audio Network Realtek RTL8139 PCI A/B/C USB Intel 82801FB/FBM USB2 My problem basicly is, i have 5 days reading forums trying to make a compatible with Safari5, iLife 09, etc version of OSx work on my PC! Ive succesfully installed osx86 ToH 1.5 on that computer no problems with that, I only had to use the "fixboot patch" to get to boot without the CD. From there on ive tried to download several Combo Updates to 10.5.6 and to 10.5.8 (iDeneb Combo Upgrade v1058) and always I get the same... when entering into booting osx part my computer restarts =( and keeps doing the same The other thing I've tried is that, I've read something about installing from Retail OSX disk using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] or boot123 or such options which i havent quite fully understood but i've tried it, what i remember and currently have on screen is that when i tried to load using the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] NVIDIA technique i get some "Cannot find driver for a platform: ACPI" error or something like that with the SnowOSX Universal 10.6(432) GM v3.5 cd.... so for now... im totally clueless on what to... I have the same config like you.
