Computer shuts off before recognizing boot disk

I've assembled the computer already, but when I turn it on, the gigabyte screen comes on, then an IRQ page comes up and shortly afterwards the computer shuts off. I've tried clearing the CMOS and switching the memory slots around but I always get the same results. Here are the components, I'm pretty sure everything is compatible, I'm just kinda stuck and not sure what to try next to get it working. Could somebody help me?

 

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P

 

Processor - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3.0 GHz 12M L2 Cache 1333MHz FSB LGA775

 

Memory - G.Skill - Memory - 4 GB : 2 x 2 GB - DIMM 240-pin - DDR2 - 1000 MHz / PC2-8000 - CL5 - 2.0 - 2.1 V - unbuffered - non-ECC

 

Video Card - ASUS EN9500GT/DI/1GD/V2 GeForce 9500 GT 1 GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported

 

Hard Drive - Samsung 1 TB Spinpoint 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.5 inch HD103SJ

 

Power Supply - Kingwin LZ-750

Try the following kernel flags to see if it changes something:

busratio=9 arch=x86_64 maxmem=4096 cpu=1 -v

 

Try removing later some of the above parameters, to see which ones are needed for your configuration.
