antknee869
As you can guess I am new to this... But I have an HP A1632x desktop and I am sick of Windows.... I realize no one may be able to give me definitive answer, but I am just wondering if it would be worth while to try to install OSX on it. If so, what version and the best method to do it would be. I will post all the details of the hardware below. I can purchase a new video card, sound card and/or hard disk if that would help. Thanks!! hardware: Asus Motherboard Name: A8N-LAHP Athlon 64 X2 (W) 3800+ 2.0 GHz 3GB PC3200 DDR1 184 pin DRAM Chipset: GeForce 6150 LE Southbridge: nForce 430 (southbridge also called MCP51) Award BIOS Realtek RTL8201CL NIC Realtek ALC883 sound SATA HD Link to mobo specs: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...=en&lang=en Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/223603-osx-on-a-hp-pavilion-desktop/ Share on other sites
