Try without the ahci

use bootcd + Snow Leopard Retail

HackBoot or ##### work very well

Load Optmized default and start the installation

is very easy

I tried ##### but the background comes out and then a gray box in the center of the screen and it just stays there. that's where I'm stuck :) :) :(

I used the EmpireEFI boot CD successfully with this motherboard.

Also, there is no need to disable AHCI because the ICH7 controller on this motherboard does not support it, so it won't be listed.

even updating the bios will not make a difference

I have a G31(ich 7), a G41(ich 7) and a p35(ich 9)

the G31 and G41 do not need anything related to it
